"I just got my latest issue of Statement mag na. Bongga ever loo! (via @andreskris)"
Nothing is more intoxicating than clear validation of your hard work.
Just felt like all those rainy nights of walking the unfamiliar turf of Marikina to interview a subject, those impromptu presswork days, late night brainstorming and the serious effort to make this issue a whole lot better than the others actually paid off. The Mag's been out in bookstores right now, and several readers have been giving praises for it. Oh, thank God. Would kill them if they said otherwise, LOL.
But boy, that was something. I haven't seen the the ish in the flesh yet, for I've been kinda busy doing interviews here and there, for what seemed to be the greatest shift in my career ever. I do hope and pray, in the name of all the saints in heaven, that this pushes through. Please, please.
Going back, reading that comment from Krissy felt like a whoosh of relief swept over me. For you know, we literally went out of our ways to get it over and done with. Not that we can all be celebratory at this moment to the point of slacking off or anything though, since the next ish is envisioned to be MORE AMBITIOUS than this one.
Ok, stop. I can't keep babbling about it here. Pao might be reading my entries and I'm gonna be totally screwed shit about giving hints. However, when you think about it, I think this is just fine. I mean, hello!? It's not like I have loads of readers anyway. Nevertheless, I'll keep my mouth shut.
Moving on, I know, I said the next entry will be about my food discovery last Monday. But I can't, for the life of me, connect my daft Windows phone's bluetooth to my Macbook. All the 'necessary proofs' of my discovery is in there. Without it, I feel like my entry's gonna be bare. The saddest part is this, I've the slightest hint why my bluetooth won't connect on it. In fact, I haven't got a clue if it's even possible to connect the two, since they have different OS. AHHHH CRAP!!! Techie problems, they'll be the end of me. I swear.
So no matter how much I really, really, badly wanted to post that entry, it seems like I don't have any other options but to park the idea for a couple more days.
To compensate and to somewhat prepare for my glorious find, I've slightly changed my blog layout. Look and tell me what you think.

Its been working perfectly earlier, save from the last few hours before going home when the connection became intermittent. I was thinking, it's just tired. Since I used it in the office the whole day cause I can't bear our haywire and sluggish web connection. And now, I was just so shocked when I plugged it on Cherry and it kept prompting "establishing connection" without really getting "connected." I'll have to check first tomorrow if it's gonna act up on my office PC before resorting to a full-blown breakdown.
