Mode française magnifique!

First and foremost, thank you to Worldlingo for my fabulous French title. That's a first! haha

Because I keep tabs of Gossip Girl updates, I recently stumbled upon this photo of chic GG BFFs Blair Waldorf and Serena Van Der Woodsen strutting the streets of Paris. Blair with what seemed to be a cherry embellished top and equally busy black skirt is just too cute for me. Meanwhile, Serena and her skeleton dress made me wonder are they heavy or are they flexible case she sits for long hours? Props to the girly hat, makes me want to wear one due to the country's very unpredictable weather recently.

Seeing these two girls reminded me of the contest I am supposed to join. As per mechanics, I am to list down my top three favorite moments in French fashion. So without further ado, here are my top three favorites.

TOP #3- Natasha Poly's Vogue Paris 2007 cover courtesy of Fashion of Women.
Only few divine demi-godesses can pull off such ensemble without looking like a try-hard Matrona(Perfect example would be Shania Twain in the video of That Don't Impress me Much) I do believe she killed the cover. Plus, plus I love that VOGUE is in animal print as well.
I guess that's the first time they did such in Vogue Paris
TOP #2 Would be Emanuelle Mimiuex's outfit for the kill in Inglourious Basterds (2009) particularly, her cage veil. For me this is the most fashionable head piece today (Yes, bye bye big-bowed GG headbands) Her dress is quite simple yet elegantly customed for her slim body and accentuated with overlapping flaps at the bottom. Too bad I can't find a photo of it. Photo by We♥it
Mélanie Laurent in Inglourious Basterds.

This ain't part of my list, I just loved Diane Kruger's version of a Fedora hat here. Photo by Blogdorf Goodman

Top#1 Goes to *drumrolls* Chanel's Haute Couture Spring 2009 collection by Style Frizz
because not only are they wearable in the Philippines *not that it matters* but the collection is a play of a woman's usual needs, from wedding gowns to cocktail dresses to everyday corporate attire

There goes my list. :P I hope the 'jury' chooses mine.
Will be blogging a food entry hopefully tomorrow, so keep reading :P
