neutral?!!

"Neutrality is just a phase not a stand"

The concept of neutrality serves as the basis for responsible journalism. This same notion as they believe should be inculcated to each upcoming journalists so as to be able to attain the main purpose of journalism and that is no less than; impartial reporting on matters interesting to the public.

In pertinent issues we would always take notice of others trying to ask another person what was his stand on that issue. Was he pro or con!?!

This scenario can be compared to a tossing of a coin, one would only be given the option between heads or tails, nothing else. But then there came the concept 'neutrality' which means unbiased or impartial.

Technically speaking, you won't see any tossing of the coin wherein it stood middle. It is because it is impossible and so the stand neutrality I want to prove is immaterial.

Neutrality I say is just a phase in a sense that being a rational being, we have the capability to 'judge' instances as to what to react and whether to react or not to react. And with this rationale we can deduce that man would naturally have his own judgment on matters he choose to be concerned at. Because man has this so called 'standards and norms' which may be personally formulated or acquired that serves as the basis for his judgments.

And having these norms attached to us each time, we naturally have to have a stand on an issue and our choices would only be, pro or con.

Neutrality I say is a phase because people tend to think that they could be impartial upon trying to listen to both sides of the story and judge it according to their standards.

But by that judging itself a person already is having a stand because his judgment was only devised by him, no outside force can dictate to you what decisions to make and what judgments to pass. They may occur a 'physical' dictating but the decision would still be yours and yours alone to make.

I therefore pronounce that neutrality is just a phase wherein a person is still indecisive on what stand to take, for in the latter moment he would always enclose in his subconscious his own personal opinion which he only tries to suppress due to external demands.
** Ssooo.. Sir Esguerra!
-I had a close encounter with sir esguerra!wahahhaha! well by that i mean I was able to somehow talk to him.. which doesn't usually occur cause im the "passive-quiet-type-girl" in his class..

well it happened before he entered the class as I was standing outside the classroom parallel to me was the polsci bulletin board.. I was reading the comments when he suddenly showed up and asked me what was on the board.
"mga articles po ng mga polsci yan, tpos nagvviolent reaction po yung mga tao!"I replied in the girliest manner I can.. hahahaha!

and then he saw this silly comment about the pen name of the author of the article.. and he said
"gago ito ah!"
whoah! if an ordinary guy said that I could have probably reacted violently while saying..

"duh?! eh sa comment nya un eh nagengealam ka jan?"

but then I that reaction was suppressed by the reality that he was no ordinary guy.. he was sir esguerra!nyahahah! i know I sound like a PR writer here.. well who the hell cares.. I just think he has the right to recat that way cause judging the way he teaches his lessons in our class.. he knows more than an ordnary guy was supposed to know..ahahhaah!

yeah I admit it.. I used to have a crush on him! but rest assured peeps.. that im so over him! though at times I think he's cute and irresistable.. I have settled to the truth that he was a man who was so impossible to be with!hahhaahah~ and I was expecting huh??! I know.. im not alone.. perhaps I can assume that most of the girl he was able to handle would have experienced this kind of dilemma of having this "huge admiration" on him!hahahaha!

when he looked on the other side he pointed out the comment which says something like.."educator ba si tayao?"

and he said.. "diba prof yan?" I plainly answered.. "yes sir.. poldy po.."

anyways.. and there's this other article that he corrected the signatory.. which says.."its me" he said..

"oh eto pa! its me,, db dpat may apostrophe yan?"

then I replied.. "onga sir.." with a soft giggle..

then suprised I am,, he slid the glass cover and asked me to add an apostrophe to the signatory's name... and so to suffice his demand.. I added an apostrophe while saying..

" o cge na nga sir pra masatify lang kayo.."

and after that we enetered the room..eheheh! wasn't that nice??!

at least i had a close encounter with him before the school year ended.. though I was able to talk to him back then.,.I consider it senseless..not like this one! he's really cool.. and a certified perfectionist!eheheh!

I thought that was the end of the good encounter with him.. nonetheless I was wrong..

he called me in class when he was lecturing to us the correct answers for our past quiz..
and when he asked for my surname I whispered.. "belmonte po sir.."

then he said.. "huh?!" and I repeated what I said.. then he added..
"ah belmonte.. maureen belmonte.."

OMG!!! he knows my first name! wow!! that's really something huh?!

while I was saying the answer.. i could feel the wide grin painted on my face getting wider as I pronounce each word.!!wahahahah! I don't know.. I know I sound weird.. Im just happy that he knows me.. cause all the while I thought he doesn't..

at least if ever id get to see him at the corridors after our course with him.. hopefully he'd eventually reply a simple wave of hello!nyahahahah!:)

I g0tta admit that encounter brightened up my day.. was it just that or was there another thing?? but how about the guy wearing yellow shirt.. toink! never mind.. im so happy.. i feel like screaming!!

**Never trample other persons rights!
Sir Tobias attended in our class a while ago, who’d have thought?!hehehehe kidding! =p

Actually that concept of neutrality was from him, I just changed the grounds of that claim,, I was philosophizing, wow! That's something! Thanks for the concept sir..

Anyways he discussed a paper that was due next next week which would serve as our final exams. It's more of a reflection paper with regard to our exposure trip last Friday.

After that discussion of the paper he noticed the fractured leg of matt exposed on the aisle, then he asked whether its expenses were shouldered by the university because he got it during a football practice. As usual Sir Tobias started with angry outburst of the rights and privileges of the students.

That's what I like most about him, his frankness and guts he uses for the advocacy of human rights, may it be human, students, or laborers rights. Though he was born filthy rich cause his family owns a resort and I presume other chain of businesses, you could notice that he wasn't the usual braggart. Also you could see in his posture and aura the attitude and bearing of a naturally born 'rich kid' but in spite of that he manages to reach down to every level of various sectors of people he comes across to.

He’s just too natural,, and that was what I like most about a person! True to himself and never pretentious..

Too bad I was only able to appreciate him now when we're only left with a couple of meetings for regular classes which maybe he won’t be able to complete at all.

Aww.. but still I wanted to tell him that with all his talks and discussions,..

I learned and I won’t forget..

**Exc'z
_* W had the votation for the journsoc, could have chosen abstain for all but then I realized its senseless to do such..
_* I found out from my classmates that our class was accused of being the ones liable for the vandalism on the girl's washroom which says to vote abstain for this year's society election..
_* my infuriated classmates had a concession to choose abstain instead of voting for the sole candidates, cause it seems to them that we're not 'properly' recognized by our own society.. that's really frustrating.. and to think that they got that info from the first years.. hmm.. I prefer not to comment on this matter.. im neutral for the moment..!

_* after class I ate lunch with dez and djhay at colayco park,, we our used to be favorite 'preso food' cause it's a meal with a lot of rise topped with veggies of mongo sprout and corn with pork teriyaki as viand. I missed it..ehehehe!

_* then dez and I proceeded to the library to look for the assignment about social community Sir Agui has given us..

_*dez and I waited for madie at the pav for about an hour cause she had a practice with shelly at their house for their speech tomorrow..

_*we left UST at around 3 in the afternoon after our zagu escapade at the carpark cause madie was craving for something cold..

_*I feel much of an accomplished person today, cause when I got here I cleaned my mom and dad’s room, our room, the kitchen, the dining are and, the sala,, in short the whole house..ehehehe!

_* I was also able to finally cut biana’s fingernails and toe nails which has long been delayed because my superstitious parents won’t allow me to cut it during the evening.. and curious me I kept on asking them to give me a valid reason for that .. they would just shout back at me..

“hay nako ate ang kulit mo, basta wag mo siyang gupitan tapos!”

_*my blog was broken,, I don't know what happened to the flowers,, I don't know were it has gone, I was trying to host the image thru the url but it just says that there is no picture..huhuhuhu! as a resolution I'd change my layout instead.. too bad for me.. =(

*blog disappointed mode*
