Avant adieu!

Just before I say goodbye to loads of things along with the old 2010 calendar of ours, and to this blogspot of mine.

Yes everyone, you got that right! 

I'm saying goodbye to this blog account.

BECAUSE I'LL BE MOVING TO A PERMANENT SPACE OVER THE NET REAL SOON!

Anyhoo, we can all agree to call this a "killing time" post. While I'm under moving blues and humdrums, I was left with a few more pieces which obviously deserves a page in this "old home."  

Earlier today, I was asked by my Managing Editor to play photographer for an advertorial shoot. I was like, YAY!! Or not! 'course I was dead rattled over the fact that an advert's saleability, as dependent on the photos lies in my. unprofessional. experimenting. fake. photographer's hands. 

With the test shots and all, I guess I pretty much fooled everyone to think I'm a pro. Which was funny and scary all the same. Funny, in a sense that they've no idea how much my knees were wobbling under my blue dress. And scary cause I am the epitome of neophyte in photography!

And so, repeated adjustments on the aperture, ISO and shutter speed had to be made cause I had to use natural light. Not that I had an option, since our camera is yet to have its a own detachable flash and kick-ass lens. (Thank god for my mini-crash course in photography from my colleagues while we're in Cebu.)

So anyway to cut the story short, I was able to do it! Can you believe it? I know I don't! LOL 

Although, hmmm... majority of the photos seemed-- well, jaundice-stricken, I lift everything to photoshop's mercy. HAHA

Ain't success just empowering? I feel so high with dignity right this very moment.Which is why when I got home, I quickly scoured my bag for the body shop goodies I bought after having renewed my LYB card. You know, just so i could make sure I already have the "skills" for more shots. And, voila!

See? They're not yellow! Must be the pin lights they have in the event yesterday. Oh well! That's one point for me. :)
