January, if my memory serves me right was the last time I bought something for
myself. Yes, I'm known for having a fallible memory but NOT when it
comes to shopping.
Today I've decided to break the springing unacceptable trend by grabbing a few stuffs to make me a tad happy (the call I got last night just before I was about to sleep turned the my cup of happiness into a stream of tears).
My day started with Rvi and ended with SJ. As inevitable as spending when your strolling inside the mall with lots of screaming red-tagged, marked down and unbelievably cheap items, you'd always grab something while rationalizing to yourself its a good buy even though you don't really need it, I ate a lot. And by 'a lot' I mean two consecutive lunch meals and another heavy dinner.
Part of the workforce
My friend for 18years SJ, after five years is finally transferring the tussle. In three weeks time she bids farewell to the adventure-filled college life as she says hello to the almost love-hate world of the workforce. Hence, the need to rummage every boutique in the entire mall thrice for the asset-flattering dress and the matching not-so-party-like pair of pumps. By the power of prayer after twice of not feeling my feet due to excessive walking, we got what we we've been looking for.
Why the smile?
Why not, when i've several reasons to do so:
1. Got two books of The Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
2. Those two books come with 2 premiere night tickets of the books' movie adaptation.
3. Had a good bonding day with SJ.
4. Finally found and got that top that i've long been searching for.
5. Had the best foot pampering and beautifying service from Nail-a-holics. Happy feet.
Spell happiness, M-E!!! :)
XOXO
Mau
