sardines analogy!

A very well-liked canned good in the Philippines was the sardines, may it be Spanish style, in tomato sauce or something else. Still it's the food for the masses which has long been patronized by a lot of Filipinos.

Though a lot has been saying that the food of the masses wasn't sardines anymore but instant noodles. Upon questioning some families I found out that because of its cheapness and availability why it has been so popular to most of us and the reason why it still retains its title for being the food for the masses.

Its popularity has greatly affected even our culture to the point that we were even able to formulate idioms about it.

"nagsisiksikang parang sardinas." Which means that there is no longer enough space to accommodate any other form of movement.

Since sardines is manufactured in the Philippines in a canned form maybe it follows that the fish within was so intact that there’s no more room for another fish to be added.

See how good Filipinos are in correlating their necessity to produce an idiom which is renowned in our culture. Filipinos really are worth acclaiming in their own respect of creativity.

But what if there would come a time when sardines in the Philippines would no longer be packed in cans but instead in sachets? What would happen to that famous idiom? Will they formulate a new one so as to be able to adapt with that change? Or would someone object with that change in packaging?

Honestly I am not certain on what would be my stand in this issue Im pertaining to, its just that when I saw that sardines in a special pack I was outraged since it had withdrawn the essence of the sardines and that idiom.

Well that's life there are a number of changes that we tend to ignore and to consider as irrelevant but in reality it has changed a part of us in one way or another.

Wishing [for something] well..

History recitation was tedious. At that moment I was wishing that some sort of fairy would appear and tap me with her wand that would suddenly change me to an invisible being. Haha! Weird thought isn’t it? well I was that desperate to ease my boredom.

Perfect!!! Just when I crammed the preceding night so that I could finish my report in biology he never showed up.. grrr!! That really is unfair! He was the one who thought of that extension class thingy and he was the one not coming to class. How I wish I have the power to let group of gigantic alarm clocks wake him up every morning so long as he never realize the significance of time.

Judy and Djhay were teaming up against me in bragging the good remark they received given on their respective quizzes by Sir Esguerra huhuhu,, I need not admit that I was dying of jealousy because of that petty remark, but I wasn't able to conceal it.

Was I that bad in writing that I wasn't even able to obtain a good remark? This was the question that bugged me up to the moment I reached home,, huhuhu! Bad judy, see how you shattered my small amount of confidence that’s only left of me..

Maybe just maybe I hope he'd be able to appreciate my style[if there's any..] in writing.. im getting frustrated that not a single quiz of mine was praised by him.. though I now its small-minded to base it for confidence level.,, its just that if my level of thinking wasn't even able to meet up with his in those small things what more the bigger ones right?

Look alike!!!

When im on my home together with anne, as we rode a jeep. I was amazed or should I say star struck when I noticed that the guy opposite to me looks really the similar to the actor Dennis Trillo.

Hahahaha! Though I was so obvious in what ive been doing I just can’t help but take a short glance of his features. He's from FEU, and his cellphone was a 5210 model. Anne was eve joking that she has a lot of money that she could finance him!hahaha!silly anne! Compared with Dennis Trillo he appears to be manlier, judging from his height and body built.

Weird I maybe but I was keeping my fingers crossed that he would board off at Gateway so that I’d be able to find out where he lives!hahaha! my stalker instincts starts to turn up again! Maybe I was just that good in wishing at that moment because when we reached gateway, when there were only few passengers left in the jeepney I overheard him asking the driver for directions.

But too bad for me when he alighted the jeep he headed for the opposite direction I usually take, aww.. im not that crazy to follow him cause I might probably scare him off with that action. I was feeling hopeless however seems like fate was on my side, I was astounded when I saw him walking beside me. And so I took that opportunity to walk a bit faster than the usual so that I could maintain our side-by-side walking setup.

It seemed to me that he was also heading for the same jeepney bay I usually take my ride home. So when I saw a jeepney which I first assured to be boarded by him, I without any second thought flagged it.hahaha!

Just as expected he boarded the same jeep as I was and since there was no other vacant seat aside from the one next to me he, took the spot. I can’t believe it!!! that he sat beside me and the more that I look at him the more I feel amazed that he really looks like dennis trillo!

While the jeep was moving he seemed so bothered and lost that he kept on looking outside the jeep as if still uncertain where he would let the jeep drop him. As for me,I was texting my close friends cause I was asking them on whether I should talk to him and offer some help. But disappointingly just when I was able to gather all the confidence needed for me to be able to talk to him and as I was about to tap his shoulder he flagged the jeep and hurriedly alighted the jeep.

Aww.. that was so frustrating.. I felt so regretful.. if only I was confident enough to talk to him,, maybe at least Im not feeling this..
