freedom,inconvenience, and goodies!

freedom is a seven-letter word misused,abused and overly-used.

this word was so abstract, that its abstraction was being used to pose negative connotations to people unaware of the real definition of it.there's nothing absolute and certain in this world as they may say, even freedom was scoped by that quote. so if I define freedom now, it wouldn't mean the same twenty or forty years from now,, or to exaggerate.. it may be different tomorrow.

"you can't give what you don't have,,"

and

"you won't want something you're not knowledgeable of.."

freedom for me is something relative and subjective.

i define freedom as ones ability to act and react on issues or matters of our interest without any feeling of restriction may it be internal*conflict of the mind* or external*dogmas* along with the conscious familiarity of the cost of each action and reaction.

but just like the first quote we can't give what we dont possess within ourselves so much so that we can't want something which we're not acquainted to.

relating it to this days issues of freedom of assembly and expression in recognition of the commemoration of the people power revolution. im neither pro nor anti the current government but it doesn't necssarily follow that Im apathetic of our countries' concerns. im just trying to be neutral and im practicing the openminded character we should possess as journalsit in order for us to able to discern accordingly from the informations wew ould be exposed to in our carreer. :)

going back to the issue, admit it or not all the presidents in their own respects had their own share of being corrupt during their incumbency. it maybe directly of indirectly, but th point is they once had their own share of immoral act. and GMA was no less than different from Marcos, Erap and FVR, only maybe a lot worse cause she was the only one who did a public apology which up to know was still unclear on to whether what issue was she apologetic for. sadly though her apology was taken badly by people which i consider as to be a normal reaction for the frustrated and deceived masses.

the issue of the commemoration of the people power was really good for it really played a good role in restoring our democracy, but the fact that it was already used as a cover up for a much deeper intent of rallying to oust the president I think that's what they were pointing out in the decision of the declaration of the state of emergency all over the country to being a factor in the said declaration.

as ive said im not pro nor anti, i just want a quality government which can support the oppressed and uplift the status of our country regarding competitiveness and productivity. If they wanted to oust her they should at least try to reconsider first who are they planjning to take hold of her office after the ousting proper and next what are the capabilities and the basis for the choosing of that official whom they were planning to replace her.. if he'd be productive enough to level her efforts and somehow 'achievements' for the country.

then without second thought I believe te people would whole heartedly accept that next official..

but the sad part is,,, not all the ones participating in the rally was concerned about the nations status.. most of them are only politicking! they are there only to take advantage of the chaos currently occuring so as to have an opportunity to put to act their plans of destablizing the government for purpose of self-gain. and by using the unknowledgeable oppressed to be inculcated to of rumors of the president being a cheat on the last presidential election so as to develop a feeling of agitation which would eventually lead them to hold an uprising against the current government.

now tell me,, was that freedom? freedom to assemble and to address their grievances.. yes! but the fact that there are underlying agendas within each one of them I dont think that's the proper meaning of freedom..

by this reality I was able to deduce that freedom to uphold people power has been perceived and used wrongly nowadays.. =(

no classes!!grr..

i should be happy that classes were suspended,, in fact I really am! but what irritated me was the studpidity of ched's chair.. her/his inability to decide earlier regarding suspension of classes due to the celebration of the people power revolution caused most of the students, like me unconvenience!

imagine i just learned about that suspension while I was on the jeepney going to UST from the LRT station, she could have at least thought to consider that some students are exerting effort to go to school each morning, and by announcing it earlier she could have lessened the burden of the students who wake up early to go to school..right?!

but then its ok.. its done so no need to complain! i just decided to drop by the bilding first to see if I could go home with someone,,and luckily arene and madie were there! and so we decided to eat breakfast together at jollibee to compensate our irritated feeling regarding the late anouncement.

something good!

yeah I did something good,, I cleaned the whole house!yippeee! cause it was just now that I had the leisure of time to do such..and so I already grabbed it!:)

I was with bianx the whole day, no choice jm's out and my lola was at her friend's house. good thing bianx tantrums were a bit tolerable a while ago cause if not im sure we would have ended up fighting the whole time we're together!

oh by the way bianx passed in her entrance exam at stella! actually we found out about it two days ago.. and i was able to recall it just now,, sorry!eheheh! im so proud of her.. though i notice that she's more of jm's mini me because of her poor study habits, I think she has acquired a little of my traits regarding the natural intelligence!hihihi.. just kidding!;)

I was able to talk to talk to santy, and we're going out tomorrow!yehey! finally.. im going to see again my angels!miss yah girls!
