Peeps! I'm moving and I guess this is really it. Though I still have no idea  what will happen to this blog of mine. I'd like to introduce to you my new home.

It's not entirely fixed yet, a little more tweaking and some personal banner and theme and I guess I'm good to go.

Thank you for being with me. Seriously, it's been awesome knowing that as I checked my RSS there are actually subscribers who follow the things I write.

I hope you guys join me as I make new memories in my new online home.

Hello followers!

Over the couple of months that I've lurked, posted, reblogged and liked things on Tumblr I was able to reach 102 followers today. HURRAY!! 

Not that it can change the world or it has so much gravity that it can reshape our history but I'm just so glad that 102 folks think that my blog is worth following. It's not too much compared to my officemate's 22k followers but I'm quite satisfied with it. :) Considering that my posts were pretty off my track and somewhat teeny bopper-ish, I get a few likes and reblogs every now and then and that is what matters. 

Meanwhile, my blog, where I increasingly spill my unsaid thoughts has gained another follower. Yay! From 21, my followers now rose to 22. LOL  at least I have readers who think that my blog isn't some crappy site with negligible posts. :) 

In other news, I've noticed an innovation in blogspot's interface. So to my dear blogspot user friends out there, the admin just added a new feature from which we could see and indicate our locations. I don't know what's the need for such but I think it gives a little bragging rights to people who are trotting the globe while writing their posts. Whoever they are. However, it would have been better if it was GPS-configured making it quite authentic as opposed to its current setup wherein you just need to type your location. Oh well, this is just me thinking aloud.

I just felt it relevant to quote Dean Martin's celebrated piece of music for the subject of this entry.

Perdóname. Forgive me.

Not that the whole World Wide Web or what I consider to be my alternate universe would stop doing their thingamajigger without an update from this space. But please. Do understand that as a writer we can only assume that some people are actually sparing some of their time to read our pieces for the heck of it.

Haters. Stalkers. Readers. Followers. I couldn't care less. So long as they make an effort to type my url and skim my site, I'd give them A for effort in a heartbeat. (Hi to my "followers," especially the ones with their tiny faces embedded on the right side of my sidebar)

That being said, do pardon my lack of substantial updates when a lot is evidently going on in my life right now. Good and bad. I can't really say as of the moment. But what I know for sure is right now, my head and my heart, for that matter are in a limbo. Not to mention the fact that my blog seriously needs to rise a scale higher.

For the longest time, I have dreamt of my blog to becoming a repository of worth-while content where others could extract something of the essence. Not necessarily inspirational, for I myself plead guilty that I'm searching for it; just something that they can nod and say "Hey, this loony kinda makes sense" or "Whaddaya know, we're not the only ones on that boat!" Something that readers can relate to. Could be something that's more realistic and entertaining than my day-to-day stunts.

Although originally this 'online journal' is all about being filled with thoughts and realities that gave me a strong hankering to put down a book, set a conversation on hold, storm to my mac or simply scribble words out of a worn-out tissue paper. Occurrences in a life of 23-year-old magazine editor that are too had to miss. Some event that prodded me so much to set everything aside for what I consider to be something concretely significant. Then again, what I see as crucial may not even merit a second-look to others, who are far more profound thinkers than a shallow ruminating girl like me. Am I making some point here?

And I again had one of those word-vomit-moments when I just let my hands do their thing.

Putting aside all those babbles, I have once and for all determined what I want my blog to tackle for 2011. YES!! I can almost reach for the sky and hear the bells and the angels singing on this epiphany. Actually, scrap that.

Again.
I have once and for all determined what I want my WEBSITE to tackle. I wanted my posts to be more personal yet insightful to Filipina yuppies like I am. Pretty much, Filipina yuppies' bible to conquering the world. (Chic title, wouldn't you say?) Whether it be under commuting, shopping, dining, traveling, relationships, family and career, they would learn pieces from my quirky, pertinent and emphatic posts.

OHMYGOD! I can actually see the success of the mere idea. Happiness!!! :D

Perhaps that's all for now, I badly need to hit the sack for the much needed energy for tomorrow's WE13 post-mortem meeting. Yikes!

PS. Stumbled upon this picture of a ballerina and I suddenly remembered how much I dreamt to be one when I was younger. Making this work in progress a reality is almost as close to attaining that ballerina dream. It's not really connected to one another though. :p
