Cover dibs

Sorry folks, I just can't get past my obsession for Blue Valentines.

Now here's a promo still of the film.
Depressing as it is, Blue Valentine's shrewdness and faithfulness to the eventual demise of love that once fueled a couple to jump, head first, to marriage is too blunt you gotta embrace it. And I did. Hence, the resurfacing of my earlier qualms on marriage as a one-way ticket to self-destruction.

Truth be told. Sometimes, things just really end and there's nothing we can do but watch it fall apart.

On a different note, not that I'm turning my blog into a magazine cover wellspring, it's just that coming across these amazing covers warrants some appreciation. Please understand.
