Bloglovin' Twenteensomething

This is what happens when I attempt to be creative -- FAIL!
Not to sound like one helluva fanatic, but I absolutely love Bianca Consunji.
Everything about her. Her writing style. Her fashion sense. Her exorbitantly cute blog (plus avatar :D).

Actually, I can't remember when I learned about her or when I began following her write-ups. It just happened.

Unaware of who she was back then,  I added her on Facebook. And the next thing I knew, I'm hitting the follow button on her twitter page. As if part of my regular routine, I just found myself religiously checking her FB posts and tweets for insightful updates. Mind you, she has plenty! A wealth of information for wannabe journalists and "practicing" journalists alike.

I told myself: This girl is gonna be someone, someday.

Since everybody wants to be "someone, someday" and I won't exclude myself from that, I often read her blog. In that I blog I uncovered a sort of writing bible.

Every post she makes, no matter how personal, imminent and sometimes, unknown to me are written in a manner in which I deem as ideal -- flowing, concise, honest and decisive.

Perhaps by now it's considerably evident that she inspires me. In fact, I look up to her works and the privileges she gets to experience along with her exemplary talent. To me, she's pretty much a paragon of a remarkable young journalist.

An encounter with her is to be considered an opportunity. One which I strongly want to happen very soon.  Having that in mine I dared to participate in her recent blog contest. Now I really do believe that good things really do happen unexpectedly. I was one of the two winners in that contest. Lucky right? I know.
Promod GCs = Shopping!  ♥
So a while ago I went to ABS-CBN to claim my prize and man was I starstruck. A towering lady in shorts and sky blue and white striped boyfriend top emerged from the hallway -- Bianca. An epitome of beauty, smarts and wits. I can instantly say that my birthday next week is gonna be A-W-E-S-O-M-E, for two of my wishes already came true. First, I met Bianca in person. Second, getting this much Promod GC to splurge. :D YAY!

All thanks to Bianca. ☻

PS. Dearest Bianca,

Please continue being an inspiration to writers who feel like they are not good enough. Writers, who like me want to be as good as you. And remember, people appreciate you more than you ever realize. :)
