Woody's final story

The long overdue review of one of my sister's most memorable film to date, Toy Story 3.

Happily, this is the first 3d film that our family watched together. Though my mom went exhaustingly ballistic during the onset of the film,  over my brother not being able to get our popcorns earlier; the movie saved the day from dashing down the ruins.

On to the review
Warning: This review is a hodgepodge of what I remember and liked about the film, 'tis been three weeks or prolly two since I've seen it.

Off the top of my head, what I loved about the movie is how loyal Woody is to Andy. Despite the others' dejection and doubt over Andy's affection for his childhood toys. Woody remained true, as he always was, to "being there for Andy." Though he was the favorite and the only one to reach the greener pasteur of  Andy's college dorm, Woody wanted to make sure that his friends won't be left behind uncared for.

This cowboy made me realize how toys are, at one point or another, serve as an extension of ourselves during our younger years. How they used to be our silent friends watching us grow. Third installment and I still can't help but wonder if toys really do talk when we're out of sight. There could be a possibility you know, we can never tell.

Can I just say that even though Lotso wears the color that I would definitely love at first glance, that character has some malignant smile that didn't attract me even a bit. A treacherous and selfish cute, fluffy bear.
Ken, of course, he's gay really. Or perhaps a metrosexual? a walk-in closet? Come on, he could've beaten Barbie to the title of the most fashionable toy.
Buzz, to infinity and beyond. He conquered space and the spanish language, Te Amo SeƱor Buzz for winning the heart of the cowgirl Jesse.
Potatoes are the best vegetables for me. But in this film in as much as I wanna contain the emotion, i'm this close to declaring an anti-potato campaign because of Mr. Potatohead. That guy has serious trust and leftist issues, I still can't figure why he tends to oppose every idea of Woody or Buzz, for that matter.

The END
Guys you've the slightest idea how much my little sister loved this film that she went on watching toy story 1 like more than 30 times. And this film, though it may sound weird made us both emotional in varying degrees. Particularly during the latter part, when Andy dropped his toys to Bonnie's and saw that he's all teary-eyed over seeing Woody inside the box.

Besides friendship, separation anxiety is what I think this film is highlighting. There are just some things that we find hard to let go yet we all have too, sooner or later.

A movie composed of several relatable emotions rolled into one. This has been the greatest adventure of Woody and the gang, as they outsmart a gang of bullying toys and themselves, for the battle against the sadness of being separated from Andy. Heart-melting, witty and mostly entertaining, Toy Story 3 is a fantastic ending to a franchise that the young and old grew along with.
