Accomplished

Here's an apparent snapshot of King Henry's screaming obsession for his second wife, Anne Boleyn.

Nothing really special to blog this morning. Though I've a lot of good topics in mind, I find it so unbelievably difficult to sit down and leisurely scribble my day-to-day escapades lately.

Not with all the looming deadlines, tedious presswork and one more interview for statement later. Plus, yesterday's announcement of our CEOs indefinite leave from the company. That's good news though, it's just too overwhelming and surprising. Also shocking, if I were to narrate the incident that led to such decision. Anyhoo, we've been dreaming of having the opportunity to run Gab with our own dynamic approach since we discovered his sheer idiocy, but never did we thought that it would ever materialize. Still, thank God for granting my birthday wish earlier than expected. LOL

Frankly, there's just too much hodgepodge ideas in my head lately. Gimme a day or two I guess,  by then organizing my thoughts wouldn't be that much of a chore after I make it to all my deadlines.

Creme ala creme
•As I've mentioned, there's my first accomplishment, us finally being able to steer GAB whichever direction we want. GAB is definitely getting a serious revamp under our watch. Ha!
Second, me at last being able to finish my Makati Wellness Studio review. God, it took me ages to write it. Prolly because 'twas my first time to look, and actually write a piece for a newly-launched wellness center. Perhaps I'm getting another diamond peel and a massage for this one, my fingers are crossed. :p
Third, my notable progress in watching The Tudors. Anne Boleyn is such an inspiration. For someone who has a severely poor memory as I am, it's almost like a refresher course for I can hardly remember monarchial England's history from the lectures we had in college. And watching that series, thanks to Ms. Drea, somehow refreshed my already stagnant thoughts of King Henry VII, the Tudor Dynasty and the ever so regal Catherine of Aragon.
Fourth, by some hint of divine intervention, my wireless broadband is working. And by working, I mean it already serves its purpose of having rocket-fast internet connection. Not the kind of sluggish connection, that compels us to double, or even triple click the buttons on-screen. Believe it or not, that's something nowadays. Especially with the recent wi-fi dictatorship that's been happening in our house, c/o my Dad.
Fifthly, the success of being able to edit the rather extremely happily-written articles of our GAB writers. All the exclamation points, perky tone and the unacceptable informality of their writing. Yes WE ARE A LIFESTYLE MAGAZINE, and the writing must be more friendly and conversational, but our writers just went over the top. As the first "filter" of their works, I somehow managed to get the knack in transforming the feel of the article to achieve a more well, subtle flow.
Lastly,  what seems to be my growing penchant for audiobooks. Alas, I am able to find a way to catch up on my reading while addressing other responsibilities, simultaneously. Already started Shopaholic Takes Manhattan last week, I'm quite positive that I'll be able finish it this week, so I could move on to Wicked.

There, six notable feats I could be slightly proud of. :)

Promise, I will make time to post more thrilling escapades and some outrageous thoughts I've had a couple of days ago. There's my childhood cheap thrills entry, my first visit to Forever 21, my death by Max's chicken challenge, a couple more forgotten shots from our DSLR, and a few other photobooth sessions in my laptop.

Apologies that I had to list them down, know that I never intend to sound too pompous for my own blog. It's just that blogging about them would be a breeze if I have them written down somewhere conspicuous.
