The sea and I are one.
Firstly, this trip should've been called "the clan goes to Pagudpod" but despite the extent alloted to save up for the trip. A month before the getaway, the unexpected reality broke out.
We collectively confessed bankruptcy. No one was able to save for the trip, thus the need for a back up or we won't push through at all. But the need to execute the plan overpowered the will to visit the paradise of Ilocos region. We opted for a less plush and and pocket-friendly option which was earlier suggested to us by Ms Lhenz.

Truth is, cagbalete was just a last resort not an original destination.
But upon reaching the island, more than being surprised we lived on it for three days with constant awe for its unadulterated and pure beauty.
From the beyond delectable meals to the ever hospitable resort crew, to the sunset, the finest white sand and the crystal clear sea . It's official, I fell inlove with the island.
True to its description the place is an uncommercialized paradise with a serene ambiance.
Though it didn't come out as planned, this first beach trip of mine with my friends I will surely recall with amazement and urge to do it once more.
The gushing waves, the melting sun, the delicate sand, the calming sea breeze, the palatable food and the crazy company.
All was perfect for a first time.
